The small South Italian Town Alberobello is known for its unique Tulli houses, which are named UNSESCO world heritage site.
By Air then Bus
- Fly into Bari or Brindisi airports. Both city airports have main and budget airlines flying into.
- Better option: From Bari Airport: take a shuttle bus to Bari Central Station. Then you can take a regional train to Putignano then change to bus. Total tickets cost around 5 euros and 2hr ride - Note that there is no more direct train as the part between Putignano and Alberobello is under renovation.
- Less ideal: From Brindisi Airport: take shuttle to Train station, take train to Alberobello but you will need to change 2-4 times and switching to buses too. Tickets cost about 8euros
