How to Access wifi at Lima's Jorge Chavez International Airport

  • Lima's Jorge Chavez airport doesn't really offer free wifi. You can connect to the airport's open wifi network "Free AeropuertoLima" for only 15 minutes. After your 15 minutes elapse to stay online connect to the airport's passworded wifi network " PremiumAeropuertoLima" at the following rates.
  1. $5 for 2 hours
  2. $10 for 24 hours
  3. $12 for 30 days
  • You can pay for wifi using your credit card.
  • Wifi download speed is about 12Mbps, uploads speed is about 16 Mbps.
  • Alternatively you can use the several free wifi networks all across the airport.
  • Starbucks wifi is one of the most reliable and passwordless.
  • There's also free wifi at the food court area just across the arrivals hall.

Lima Airport Express buses.

  • I used this bus to get from Jorge Chavez to Miraflores. They are safe and cheaper than taxis or Uber. In Miraflores they'll drop you just right outside your hotel and there's also free wifi on board ( You won't get free wifi in taxis).

  • In Miraflores you can get free wifi in Larcomar mall, Kennefy park and Jose Larco Avenue.
  • Public beaches with free wifi include Tres Piscos and Estrella.
