Visa exemption is however dependent on the duration of stay within the Bahamas. The maximum duration of stay for visa exempted individuals differs per country. Personally, since I am from Latin America I can stay within the Bahamas for up to 3 months without a visa. If I had overstayed the past 90 days I would have to apply for a visa.
See the visa exemption policy for various countries here.
Current visa fees for a single entry visa to the Bahamas is $100.
Yellow fever vaccination is required of you are coming from a country with a high risk of yellow fever transmission or if you have transited for more than 12 hours at an airport of a country with a high risk of yellow fever transmission ( mostly African and South American countries).
Everyone arriving in the Bahamas has to fill out an immigration form. You'll be given a copy of the form, they'll need it back at the time of departure. I'm not exactly sure what happens if you lose your immigration form since I didn't lose mine.
You may also have to fill additional forms e.g work permits, spouse permits, etc based on your reasons for traveling to the Bahamas.
