Blue Mountain is the largest ski resort that's close by Toronto

  • Toronto is pretty flat, and the hills around here really aren't great compared to the West Coast and Rocky Mountain ones
  • The main ski resort close to Toronto is Blue Mountain, about 2-3 hours drive north of Toronto
  • It's got a nice balance of green, blue, black and double black groomed runs, as well as some wooded areas
  • Opens 9am-9pm every day in the winter
  • Lift ticket is $70 for a single day pass for adult, $79 on Saturdays an holidays. Night time tickets are cheaper. You can get the official prices at https://www.bluemountain.ca/plan-your-trip/tickets-and-passes/winter-lift-tickets
  • The resort has equipment rental, but there are a lot of off-resort rental places that are cheaper
