Day trip to Tulou House Clutter in Fujian, China
The clutters in Nanjing, Zhangzhou are not very easy to get to without a car, so we opt for going with a tour
- How we arrived there: Our tour picked us up in Xiamen's meeting point at 7:30am, drove for about 3hrs
- Alternatively you can take train from Xiamen South Railway Station to Nanjing: 38min (this is Nanjing in Fujian - not the Nanjing in Jiangsu) then take the bus outside the station towards Yunshuiyao village
- We first visited first Yunshuiyao and saw Huaiyuan + Hegui Lou
- The tour includes a lunch meal at a local restaurant by the river
- In the PM we continued to other villages to visit more houses
